Violence Education/Prevention Program

The goal of the Violence Education/Prevention Program is to help decrease and eliminate violence within our community through education and awareness. We are also here to assist those who may be experiencing violence within their homes, schools and community.

VIOLENCE: Physical force exerted for the of violating, damaging, or abusing. It is also abusive or unjust exercise of power.

Services Provided by The Violence Education/Prevention Program

• Kindergarten - Grade 12 Informational presentations on subject such as: bullying, dating violence, family violence and and anger control.

• Information Presentations to community on the above as well as elder abuse.

• One to One education sessions for anger control.

• Supportive counseling & Referral.

• Groups

• Information and pamphlets available
